Twelve Days of Christmas Decorations for Our Child’s Room

Christmas Decorations for our toddler’s room

I absolutely love crafting and, in particular, making things from felt. Each year I make something new for our tree, always sewn in felt, and add a new felt motif to the Christmas stockings belonging to my Husband and my boy.

I fell in love with the designs for these felt ornaments by mmmcrafts and I was trying to work out how I was going to find time to make them all. They depict the Twelve Days of Christmas starting with a pear and partridge. So far she has designed up to number 8, maybe 9 now, in the series. I saw long nights ahead accidentally stabbing myself in the thumb as I tried to perfect a French hen….Then I discovered BrookeyBelle on Etsy makes the designs up.

The colours are unusual and I was pleased that they use hues other than the classic red, white and green combination that lots of Christmas decorations have.

And a partridge in a pear tree…

The box arrived all the way from Brisbane and I was so excited unpacking them all. They are immaculately sewn and look beautiful on Luther’s house frame bed. I know they are going to be treasured and enjoyed for years to come.
