Spare Brush Baby Chewable Toothbrushes have arrived!
Before Luther was born we were given some advice: If your child has a toy they like, buy a spare. We did. Well, we bought two lambs that we hoped he’d like. He’s not interested in his lamb. In fact, he’s got loads of lovely soft toys but has no attachment to any of them!
The only attachment he’s formed to any object is to his chewy toothbrush from Brush Baby. It is rather lovely. It’s got that sort of jelly texture to it, and the colour looks fresh and yummy!
During our recent holiday in Cornwall, on which I’ll blog about when I get a chance, three teeth pushed their way through. Poor Luther! The chewy Brush Baby toothbrush was our saviour. He used it in his buggy, in the car, at the table, in his Sleepyhead… without it he was rubbing his face with his fist and clearly pretty unhappy with the state of his mouth.
I bought the chewy brush originally because he decided that me using the electric toothbrush on him was now unacceptable (also made by Brush Baby and brilliant) and I was starting to worry that his teeth weren’t clean enough. I didn’t realise it would be such a hit!
Their applemint toothpaste is also a big hit with Luther. I did find he’d managed to get the lid open one evening and was sitting there eating it. Taking it away made him scream but I don’t think it should be part of his five a day!
Anyway, news of our dramatic near loss of the beloved chewy brush in Cornwall spread, smoke signals went up and the lovely people at Brush Baby have supplied me with spare chewy dream brushes and more toothpaste! I, well we, are very grateful!
